“ This is one of my favorite restaurants. I live in the Seattle area but have managed to find my way back here many times. I enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the great service. They have a large number of wait staff that are constantly available, you never feel like you are being ignored here. They start you off with a salad and some antipasto before you even get to see the menu, which I think is an enjoyable experience. Then you can order some appetizers and main courses, and the food is delicious. I ordered the paella, and really enjoyed it. Finished it off with the lemon sorbet and some espresso perfect finish. I will be looking forward to the next time I can come back! ”
“ My review is bias as I have been dining here for over 25 years. FORNOS is a well established restaurant with a very large following. There has been physical changes over the years mainly outside but the inside has retained its charm and decor that represents a dinning experience that can be considered higher end with reasonable prices and food quality that will surprise almost always you take food home with you. From the moment one walks in, you are greeted by a smiling hosthostess that makes one feel welcomed. All tables are dressed with cloth accessories and every level of ordering results in change of plates and silverware. At the end of the meal you receive a warm disposable towel to clean your hands. The attention is way above average. The beginning food experience salad, basket of rolls, olives olive oil plus water and final stage a side of churros chocolate dip are complimentary. My experiences have always been positive and it does help that the resolutions of my concerns have never fallen on deaf ears. Yes, the owners and management very much cares regarding your experience. At the end of the meal during payment a request for an internal feedback card is provided. Who does this? Only an establishment that is confident in their delivery of service. Just a wonderful and tasteful dinning experience. ”

“ As someone who typically favors the Portuguese restaurants in Newark, this is a great spot and excellent alternative. Never disappoints. The steak was perfect and the sangria is the best on Ferry. Seafood dishes are always super fresh and prepared in unique ways. Cant wait to go back! ”
